A new casino in the Phoenix metropolitan area (Arizona’s capital) is being built by the Gila River Indian community. A specific location for the gambling house has not yet been determined, but most likely it will be near the Hunt Highway and the Gilbert Road. The design of the facility will take, according to community representatives, 18-24 months. The construction of the casino will begin after the issue of gambling in gambling houses of Indian tribes is settled in Arizona. As My Lucky Story reported, the governor of Washington state signed an agreement with Indian tribes, according to which sports betting is allowed in their casinos. Earlier it became known that in Wisconsin gambling houses of the Oneida Indian tribe and related places received the right to betting. Recall that in the state of Maine, a bill was vetoed to allow Indian tribes to build casinos on their lands.
