The Irish authorities will check how the money of the National Lottery was spent

The Irish government has initiated an audit of the National Lottery, which is operated by Premier Lotteries Ireland. In particular, the financial aspects of this game, due to which charitable activities are carried out, will be studied. Auditors will have to check, for example, the spending of Irish National Lottery money (about 250 million euros each year) on good causes, since the transparency and efficiency of these spending are of concern to charities. In addition, you need to consider the possibility of allocating money for new charitable projects. The verification of the National Lottery will be completed by 2022.
