The state gambling regulator of the Netherlands has punished an offshore operator who illegally worked with Dutch players. The agency has fined Malta-registered N1 Interactive Ltd 500,000 euros for illegally offering online gambling to Dutch residents through its Betchan website. In addition, the regulator said that now the web resource mentioned above is not available for those who are in the Netherlands. Earlier it became known that the legal online gambling market in the Netherlands will officially open on October 1, 2021.
