The Parliament of Kazakhstan has taken for consideration a draft law on the creation of gambling and entertainment zones. The authors of this document were representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.The authors of the bill stated that at least three gambling zones may appear in Kazakhstan. The deputies proposed to build gambling and entertainment facilities on the territory of the Mangistau region, Akbulak, and Khorgos. The draft law was taken into work on Wednesday, January 9, 2019. The authorities have just begun to familiarize themselves with this document, and it is possible that some amendments will be made to the submitted draft. The deputies said that it is still too early to talk about the creation of gambling zones, since such a decision requires detailed consideration. In addition, the parliament will also consider amendments to the gambling legislation, which, if adopted, should provide residents of Kazakhstan with the opportunity to restrict their access to all gambling establishments. Recall that the authorities of Yalta signed a decree on the return of a plot of land in Katsiveli to the state property of the republic.
