The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has launched an investigation into the fact that the striker of FC Milan (Italy) Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a co-owner of the betting company Bethard. This company, part of which is owned by the athlete, accepted bets on matches, including games with the participation of Ibrahimovic, wrote My Lucky Story. The UEFA ethics and disciplinary inspector is investigating the “potential violation” and Zlatan Ibrahimovic refuses to comment on the situation in which he finds himself. Recall that according to the rules of FIFA and UEFA, football players are not allowed to participate in gambling related to any football activity. For violation of these rules, players can be disqualified for three years. As My Lucky Story reported, Russian football referee Sergei Lapochkin is being investigated by the Union of European Football Associations for a match-fixing offer. Earlier it became known about the disqualification of the players of FC Dynamo-Barnaul (the championship of the Professional Football League), who made sports bets.
