Vingroup Group announced the official opening of its 24-hour resort and entertainment center. The large-scale complex, spread over an area of more than 1,000 hectares, will be inaugurated on April 21, 2021. On the territory of the complex there is a functioning casino Corona, with a thousand slot machines and a hundred gaming tables. The gambling and tourist complex includes several hotels with a hotel stock of ten thousand rooms, the largest theme park VinWonders Phu Quoc, the semi-wild reserve VinPearl Safari and many attractions, some of which are already open to the public. According to the operator, this is the only place in Vietnam where not only foreigners, but also Vietnamese can play in a five-star casino around the clock. However, the country’s government is considering the possibility, as an experiment, to allow local residents to enter the casinos of Quang Ninh province. As previously reported, operator Vinpearl plans to build a new casino on the island of Hon Che, and casino operators in the provinces of Quang Nam and Ba Ria Vung Tau asked the Vietnamese authorities to allow Vietnamese into their gambling establishments.
