Vladimir Khubulov apologized for his rudeness to the Russian tennis player and was fined

The incident that took place on July 1 of this year, in which, after the loss of Russian tennis player Daria Kasatkina at the Wimbledon Championship, football player Vladimir Khubulov expressed his dissatisfaction with the result of the athlete’s duel too obscenely and insultingly.

The situation led to a public apology from the FC Alania player for insulting the athlete in private messages on the social network. Recall that Daria posted the messages received from Khabulov on her official Instagram page in the form of screenshots with a spicy inscription or an offer to his club “Give him a bonus for a lost bet.” Apparently, assuming that his bet did not work. The bonus was issued by the club in the form of penalties – Vladimir Khubulov missed three of his monthly salaries. In addition, the RFU – the Russian Football Union launched an investigation into the participation of a football player in sports betting in his discipline, which could cost him disqualification. As My Lucky Story previously reported, in mid-June 2021, the Russian Sports Federation reminded footballers of the ban on betting. It should be noted that today in the territory of the Russian Federation an initiative is being considered to deprive honorary state sports titles for involvement in betting on their core sport.
