The most prestigious series of poker tournaments in the world, the WSOP, resumes work on its sites. The organizers have unveiled the schedule for the 2021 series of games – for the first time since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. However, in order for the games to take place, several conditions must match. The reason for the return of poker tournaments (after the events were canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic) is the successful campaign to vaccinate the US population. The fact that one in three Americans received the first dose of the vaccine is considered by the WSOP as a positive trend for the resumption of offline championships. If vaccination rates continue, the WSOP series will take place in Las Vegas from September 30 to October 1, 2021 at the Rio All Suit Hotel & Casino. However, the main event of the tournament is scheduled from 4 to 17 November. It is reported that the final and complete list of poker tournaments and schedule has not yet been approved. As My Lucky Story previously reported, for the first time the Spring Online Championship Series was held online in April-May 2020. We add that in one of the WSOP series, a native of Ukraine won. He won the 2019 WSOP Circuit Hammond Main Event and won $300k.
