Wyoming finally legalizes online betting

Sports betting is legal in Wyoming. The corresponding law, adopted by the State General Assembly (the bicameral legislature of the region), was signed by the governor. The provisions of the document are expected to come into force on September 1, 2021. The regulation of betting is entrusted to the Wyoming Gambling Commission. Betting companies will pay a tax – 10% of the income received from online bets. Wyoming’s online sports betting revenue could reach $449 million annually, according to the state gambling commission.
